Eve Joseph

Eve Joseph (born 1953) is a Canadians poet and author. She is the author of The Startled Heart (2004), which was shortlisted for the 2005 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize, and Quarrels, which won the 2019 Griffin Poetry Prize "Victoria writer Eve Joseph wins $65K Griffin Poetry Prize for Quarrels". Joseph grew up in North Vancouver, British Columbia, and now lives in Victoria. She is married to poet Patrick Friesen.
